The Pharmacist is my ex and she is constantly being verbally abusive despite my pleas for her to stop harassing me and to please only contact me if its about the kids. she also says things such as "go shoot yourself, youre a waste of space" or when I ask if she wants me to pick the kids up at her house or if she would like to meet me she responds with something like "yea ill meet you somewhere so I can drop kick your head" i have all this on text and it is just starting to wear on me. I cant afford an attorney at this time bc i let her have everything in the divorce even though she is the one that cheated i felt like i was doing the right thing since we have two small children. any advice would help thanks
Hire a lawyer to file a Motion for Enforcement against her if the Decree has non-harassment provisions, and/or file a custody modification and/or a request for a restraining order. She sounds disturbed. I don't know whether the medical board cares-you can contact them and see. The police might consider her texts to be terroristic threats. The family court can require that all communication be through OurFamilyWizard.com, and that all exchanges of the children take place at their school or through a third party. It may be appropriate for her to have supervised visitation and be drug and alcohol tested. Organizations like Fathers for Equal Rights or the American Family Law Center both with offices in Dallas, may be able to help you represent yourself for a fee.
Accepting cases in Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tarrant Counties. THIS IS GENERAL ADVICE AND DOES NOT REPLACE A PERSONAL CONSULTATION WITH AN ATTORNEY AND DOES NOT ESTABLISH AN ATTORNEY/CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
