I got licensed in Hawaii and I need to transfer it to NV. I submitted license verification paper to Hawaii BON which should take them 20 business days to do and it should be sent back to me after 20 business days. Its been more than 2 months now and I still haven't received my license verification. I've been calling their office almost everyday too check on the status of my paperwork and the representative always tell me that someone will call me for the status of the verification but no one ever did. Now, I'm stuck and can't work in any hospitals here in NV.
I'm very sorry your experiencing difficulty, and hope to advise you best but I am not licensed in HA. I am licensed in Nevada and CA, and can tell you that you would be entitled to records under the laws of both of those states. Perhaps you can hire an attorney to assist you in obtaining documents from HA and then work with the NV Board of Nursing to help secure licensure on the mainland. Good LUCK!

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
