back in march i injured myself at work. DOL office of workmans compensation requested more medical information supporting the claim in april and gave 30 days to respond and i gave that letter to the doctors office and it was scanned into my file. the department at the doctors office that handles wormans compensation claims never responded to that letter within the time allotted infact they never responded until i said something again. work is garnishing my wages for the time off and i am enduring extra pain and suffering because i cant get the surgery that the doctor has recommended. my injury is to my left knee, i have now been limping on this leg for four months i am now having pains all through my leg, back and hips due to this situation. can they be held accountable?
If this claim is before the Virginia Workers Compensation Commission, you can request that a subpoena be issued for those records.
