My child has my maiden name. I’m getting married and I’m thinking of changing my last name to my future husband’s (he’s not biological father, but wants to adopt). I would like to know if I can change my child’s last name to my married name? Or do I have to wait until he will be adopted by my future husband? The biological father was never in the picture.
You can pay $1000ish for a name change or wait til the adoption and pay $2500ish and it will be included in there.
