I have been told that I can not submit I-566 to the DOS untill the day we finish our mission. In this case will I be out of status day after August 1st? can I submit the form then and while im waiting for respond be legal here? Im really confusing about how to do it lawfully.
Submit your change of status application before your current status expires. You may submit your application in June or July. Do not let yourself go out of status.
