I lived with a friend with a rental property from August 2017 to December 2017. I am not on any signed agreements or leasing contracts at all. I payed what was asked of me the time I lived there. However I still have items in the room that I used for that time period. They want me to pay 160 for January 2018 even though I didn't live there.
Yes. You have no right to just leave your stuff in someone's place without permission. They can demand you pay for occupying the space with your stuff.
