I work at a assisted living facility and have been employed there for 9-10 months now. They recently did a follow up cori and I have a open pending felony case on my hands that I am fighting. can they fire me even though I haven’t been proven guilty?!
Assuming you have no individual employment contract and are not covered by a union contract, you are an employee at will. As such, you can be fired for any reason or no reason, as long as not an act of discrimination against a protected class.
