At first when I was hired the company knew about my seizure disorder but didn’t care because I had them under control. And then I was calling off because of my seizure started up and my doctor refused to let me go back to work until I had some test done. After that they went away for couple months and I started to have them at work well one day I ended up having one we’re I went to the hospital to get stitches because I hit my head off of freezer door and then the next day had another one in front of my supervisor and she told me I was on medical leave till them under control again. Well another couple months went bye before I had another one at work and they just sent me home and it seem like lately I go 2-3 months without a seizure than I’ll have 4-5 of them in a week and I was just wondering if they could fired me because of the type of work I do I’m putting myself in danger or I’m putting other people in danger when I have my seizure.

Under the ADA, a qualified individual with a disability is someone who is able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Whether a person is a qualified individual, what essential functions of a job are, and what is a reasonable accommodation are some of the most common areas of dispute with ADA cases.
