I told a ex employee about what was going on at work he when around and call HR hotline and told them what i said so now and iam in trouble
That depends. Texas is an "at-will" state that allows employers to terminate for any reason -- unless that reason is illegal. In some situations, the National Labor Relations Act prevents employers from terminating/disciplining an employees that is discussing work issues with coworkers. You would need to contact a lawyer that specializes in Labor matters, (or the NLRB), to get help determining if a violation occurred.
