I read somewhere that many in the hands of the federal government is immune and can not be touched by debt collectors trying to collect on a credit card default judgment but would like to get the opinion of the respected attorneys on this site.
I think you may be confused by the Concept of Federal Sovereign Immunity, which in some circumstances protects a federal employee from being sued, if the suit i directly s related to their job as a federal employee of a specific agency.
In your case, you seem to be either the federal contractor, or working for the federal contractor. As such, there is no associated immunity preventing debt collectors from collecting on your personal credit card judgments.
If you have further questions on Federal Government Contracting, I'm happy to assist.
