I have stem-OPT and working full time. I would like to apply for EB5 ($500,000). Is that possible while already in US with F1 status? Do I need to re-enter in US?
Hire a lawyer ... there have been many problems/changes with the $500,000 EB-5 program.
Yes, it is technically possible to file for EB-5 while on STEM/OPT

You can start the EB5 program, but you may want to start with an E2 and convert it to an EB5. It will depend on many factors, including what country you are from. There are different wait times for the EB5, and increased scrutiny for the regional programs (which allows the lower amount of 500k).
