My wife and kids live in Montana, I have been away from them for the last 5 months, living and working in Utah. 2 month's ago I started dating a girl here in Utah. Well her mom called CPS on her for drug use and now she has to go to court tomorrow against CPS. She's going to fail the drug test if they give her one tomorrow. My question is, can they go after my children if they are 600 miles away in a different state?
Arguably yes, depending on contact you allowed between them and the girl. From what you say, it is not likely.
