I showed positive to drugs after birth of my son.next day they came in ask all kinds of questions. I had taken pain medication and made sleepy and I wasn't speaking correctly. Cps investigator accused that I was still high ,I wasn't. Second day of delivery and one reason that she was taking him. And what can I do and mother was with me all time and she witnessed this.
Yes, the Department can file a removal suit. Consult family law counsel and if possible retain counsel with CPS practice. If not possible, then get clean and/or stay clean of drugs. Go get a drug test privately if possible.
