Child is now 2 y/o paternity determined at 1 y/o. Mother now going after for child support but doesn't want me in life of child never met child or given any knowledge of pregnancy until received mail claiming paternity. It has been moved to a different county than what it initially started in, and once again she will be moving back to initial county in under 1 year time. Can she legally go after me for child support if she doesn't want me in the child's life?
The answer to your question is yes. She can petition the court to request that you pay child support. Likewise, you have the right to petition to have custody and placement rights with the child, without interference from her.
