I am the plaintiff in a civil case and served special interrogatories on defendant. Many of the defendant’s responses were incomplete and evasive. If I get the defendant to amend these deficient responses either through meet and confer or motion to compel, can I then use both the initial and the amended responses against the defendant at trial?
