Husband was transferred from one county jail to another for felony probation violation and so far has seen no one. He has not been interviewed by public defender, probation which I know may take some time. But he also has not had his 72 hour bond hearing, whether he will be given bond under the circumstances or not he is being denied his hearing as it is stated in the Georgia code, Title 17, section 17-4-26. He was booked into the jail on Saturday around 2pm when they were completed with booking and it is now almost Wednesday.
If the probation warrant was signed by a Superior Court Judge, then there is no requirement that he be taken for a 72 hour hearing.
