My husband (which I have been separated from for almost 7 years) is in jail for sexual activity with a minor. We have a child together and i recently served him with divorce papers. 12/4/14 to be exact. It's hard to understand or even try to comprehend what's going on with his case. All i can do is read the court dockets. Can anyone elaborate and give me simple to understand explanations to what's going on by the list of dockets below?
ORDER APPOINTING GUARDIAN AD LITEM PROGRAM
GAL AMT/ 0 ISSUED 12/04/2014 POWER/
DEFENSE ATTY PDEF/PUBLIC DEFENDER APPOINTMENT, AS
INTAKE UNIT ASSIGNED: FELONY DIVISION 10
TRIAL PROS. ASSIGNED: DOYLE
AFFIDAVIT FOR INDIGENT STATUS
The affidavit for indigent status is an affidavit completed by the defendant to get a public defender appointed. "Trial Pros. Assigned: Doyle" is the name of the prosecutor on the case. The next one is the court division case was assigned to. The one after that is that his public defender was appointed. The other two are related to a guardian ad litem appointment, which is done probably because the case involves a victim who is a minor. The Guardian looks after the interests of the child.

Unfortunately I am unable to understand this question without further information. Schedule a consult with a family law attorney to discuss this in more detail.
You may want to contact a reputable family law attorney in your area, so that he or she may advise you on steps to take now that you have filed for divorce on 12/4 of this year, as there are several different options available to you.
As for what the Miami-Dade County's criminal docket means:
AFFIDAVIT FOR INDIGENT STATUS - this is your husband applying for a public defender; TRIAL PROS. ASSIGNED: DOYLE - the Assistant State Attorney assigned to this case is ASA Doyle; INTAKE UNIT ASSIGNED: FELONY DIVISION 10 - his case is assigned to division 10's docket; DEFENSE ATTY PDEF/PUBLIC DEFENDER APPOINTMENT, AS - Public defender is appointed as defense attorney; and ORDER APPOINTING GUARDIAN AD LITEM PROGRAM - because there is a minor victim, the child has been appointed a guardian to look out for the child's best interest for the duration of the case.
