My ex daughter-in-law has just moved into an apt. She doesn't have a job so there is no income except her child support. Since she does not have money to get the girls their own beds, they are sleeping in the same twin bed. Their ages are 8 and 9 years old.
There is also inappropriate programs both mom and dad are allowing the girls to watch.
Having 8 and 9 year old daughters share a twin bed will not likely be considered inappropriate by the court or CPS. The same is true for most tv programs.
You may want to reconsider how you are trying to control or punish your child and grandchildren. How well would you have responded to your ex mother-in-law judging you?
Every grandparent has things they wish their children did differently. My daughter is a vegetarian and her husband and teen son have to sneak a hamburger now and then. I don’t criticize her choices because they do not pose a danger to the welfare of the child.
I believe it was Dolly Parton who said it wasn’t until she was married that she slept in a dry bed - she always had little brothers and sisters sleeping in same bed.
A little compassion and understanding goes a long ways. Understand that disagreements in what TV shows kids are allowed to watch is at the discretion of parents, not Grandma, and you need to not interfere. All you will do is drive s bigger wedge between you, your son, and the mother of your grandkids.
With respect to the same twin bed, the answer is no. However, with respect to the inappropriate programs, which inappropriate programs, what type of inappropriate programs?
