My employer is stating a "mandatory" if requested installation of a GPS tracking device. They specifically stated that included personal vehicles which myself and other employees are forced to use to complete our shifts. We are not reimbursed in any form for gas used in personal vehicles for work-time.
Industry: Private Security
The employer can only install it on your care with permission. You have the right to refuse to have the GPS installed on your car. However, the employer has the right to terminate your employment for refusing to put the GPS on your case.
