The corporation, a federal contractor, has an employee arbitration agreement with teachers it hires to work in a public charter school. The school receives state and federal funds which the company manages. However, its contract with the state says the company must comply with all state and federal civil rights laws. The public school also has a discrimination policy which was not followed. When the company failed to investigate my discrimination complaints did they breach the arbitration agreement with me under the fraud laws. I was wrongfully terminated and received a right to sue.
The arbitration agreement will likely still be effective if you were aware of it when you were working for them. You need to consult with an employment lawyer soon because you have a limited time to file or demand arbitration.
