I was currently I'm PRC for Cleveland Ohio and I got a violation with the state got for months got out and had to do a federal violation I was not told to see my PRC probation officer or if I still had it or not I've been home for a month and a half and am currently on County Probation which have not missed an appointment at all she calls me and tells me to get to her office tomorrow morning can she violate me and never sign no notification reporting to her after releasing jail
You were violated for not reporting not because someone failed to tell you something. Most Courts are going to tell you that you are required to make certain that you are doing everything you are required to do and are not going to buy the "no one told me" defense. Hire a good attorney to help you manage this case and mitigate any damage caused.
From the court's perspective, your explanation isn't going to fly. That isn't because it is false. It may be true. The problem is that everyone says that and it is usually false.
