My plastic surgery amount was $20k and I made a deposit of 10k with a $1k non-refundable for consultation and a surgery date for January 31 2019... I made payment 10k on 17 and on 19 or 20 texted her that i don't want to do it anymore... Went to her office on 28 for my refund and she only wants to refund 5k...
If there is no contract that allows her to keep more than the $1k non-refundable deposit, she may not be able to keep the deposit. An attorney would need to review the documents and agreements that you signed before a more proper evaluation can be provided. Unfortunately, getting the deposit back might require you hiring an attorney to assist you if she continues to be resistant.
