I filed a Motion for Summary Judgment, but printed the wrong copy of a document and included it in the filing. Can it be amended? Or would it be simpler to just withdraw my motion and just file a cross-motion/opposition since the other party file a Motion for Summary Judgment too?
It can be amended under the circumstances that you described. All you need to do is send a letter to the court and all other parties and indicate that you inadvertantly attached the wrong document and are providing the proper document in your attachment to the letter.
