Dear attorneys, I had a abusive relationship but more so worse divorce case pending. Ex brings false paychecks & hires a last minute attorney to pl hearing. He doesn't want to give me anything & has threatened on numerous issues. He has excess to all marital assets & I have none. I was a housewife in course of marriage. limited on resources, social service doesn't help either. Cant represent myself while they bring more cases against me.
Is there attorney in loudoun county can help me with motion of advance attorney fees. I have all the evidence but cant argue myself.
You ask whether a local attorney can help you in your divorce case. The answer is: "Certainly." A lawyer will give you a much better chance to succeed. See https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-should-i-hire-lawyer-david-e-bateman/ . If you cannot afford a lawyer, then you may want to consider contacting Legal Services of Northern Virginia.
If you found my answer instructive, I hope you will consider marking my answer as "helpful" of "best." Please be advised that attorney answers to questions are for general purposes only and do not establish an attorney-client relationship.
