I am under driving suspension until 8/2013, all my fines are paid, I haven't driven in 22 months, however I was caught 3 times driving under suspension. Is there anything a lawyer could do to help me get my license back sooner, or help me acquire an occupational license so that I can commute to work?
Generally it is difficult to shorten the suspension in the absence of an appeal. Penndot follows the law rather strictly as to suspension periods and the OLL. You may be eligible for an OLL, but it depends on the basis of the underlying suspension. You can apply for an OLL by filing a DL-15 form with Penndot. The PA DMV website can give helpful information as well.
