I rented a house for 4 years. I got 2 months behind due to unforeseen circumstances. She agreed to work with me on payment plan. I have since moved out. She provided me a copy of log she has kept of my payments. She is claiming I also owe her 1 months rent from 2015. According to her record, it was from the first month I moved in (which makes no sense) I retrieved my bank records and my statement shows a withdrawl for the exact amount from that month. It was a money order and I dont have my receipts from 3 years ago. She also did not include my security deposit recorded. She claims I owe her 4000 dollars while my records indicate 2800 dollars (that doesnt even include security deposit) I have since moved out and have not yet told her I have a bank record. Paying 500 a month. Can she claim I owe from 3 years earlier?
