A CPS worker has asked me to take custody away from my childs father due to a domestic violence case not involving me. she said if I do not she will take custody away from me as well. My child was not hurt in any way.
I concur with my colleague. To answer this question would require more facts than you have provided. CPS will do what is required to protect the child if they feel the child is in danger. I would try to speak with the CPS worker again and also speak with and attorney in your area. Good luck,
