My child continuously complained of a teacher verbally harassing her. I spoke with the headmaster several times and was brushed off. I decided to speak to the teacher and was told "If you don't like the way I teach, see the head master. The next day my child was expelled from school.
Private schools have much greater power to expel than public ones and the grounds for the expulsion are a matter of private contract--whatever you signed when you enrolled your child. Read the copy of the contract you signed, school policies and related paperwork. If you still do not see the grounds for the expulsion of your child and feel strongly enough to spend money pursuing it, you should take all these materials to a local educational rights attorney.
