I was having health problems and put on medication. The medication caused me to have severe mental problems and I was admitted to a hospital and released the next day. I was told it was due to the medicine.
The 911 dispatcher whom I know told her daughter that I was crazy and did not mention it was do to the medication. Her daughter messaged me and told me this and I have kept the message.
Such a disclosure is likely a HIPAA violation. However, under this federal statute, a private party, such as you, does not have standing to sue for relief of such a violation. However you can file a complaint with 911 dispatch as well as the Office of Civil Rights at the department of justice. Best of luck.
