TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN...APPROX MAR-APR 2015 I WAS ADMITTED TO THE NY VAMC..I CAME DOWN WITH 3 SPINAL INFECTIONS..SEPTUS..AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE NORTHPORT,NY VAMC..NO SURGERY WAS PERFORMED ..THE INFECTIONS WERE CLEARED UP WITH ANTI BIOTICS..I LOST THE USE OF MY LEGS DUE TO NO PHYSICAL THERAPY..I HAVE JUST NOW BEGUN TO WALK WITH BABY STEPS..MY MAIN CONCERN NOW IS THAT THE SEPTUS CAUSED A DRASTIC BLOOD PRESSURE DROP AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY KIDNEYS..I AM BEING MONITORED BIT HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I WILL BE ON DIALYSIS IN THE FUTURE..I FEEL THAT THIS HAS BEEN THROUGH THE NEGLECT OF THE NY VAMC AND SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR MY PAIN AND SUFFERING..THE MEDICAL BILLS HAVE ZOOMED AND I HAVE NO WAY OF PAYING FOR THEM, BEING ON A FIXED INCOME AND UNABLE TO WORK..I ALSO HAVE BIPOLAR, NEUROPATHY, AND AS MENTIONED BEFORE LIMITED WALKING SKILLS AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN GIVEN ANY THERAPY AT THE VAMC..PLEASE HELP ME SECURE COMPENSATION DUE ME AND I WILL GET ON WITH MY LIFE AS LIMITED AS IT WILL BE....THANK YOU AND SINCERELY PAUL J PEISEL
