I had felony charges back in 2013 of a sexual assault of a minor . Of course false allegation
I went through the court and I got not guilty verdict. Now I am applying to bring my wife from overseas and my case was transferred to the local office after 6 months of waiting.
My case still pending and when I checked online it says ,office now have jurisdiction over my case and they send out a notice that I haven't received yet .
Do you think the charges has anything to do with it and do you think I need an attorney ?
I assume you mean the case was sent to an immigration "local office". Im sure your background plays some roll but no one will know until you show. Have a good lawyer with you at all times. Expunge that arrest immediately.
