I am a new resident in NV and totally spaced on registering my car. My registration was in CA and it expired a couple weeks ago. I drove back to CA and received a fix-it-ticket for expired registration. Because I am now a NV resident I would like to register my car here (i understand that i will be paying late fees in NV for expired CA registration). Will CA accept NV registration for fix-it-ticket or do I have to pay CA registration and late fees as well?
