I had to walk around a fork lift partially blocking entrance to large commercial store- it was very bright outside and I could not see the prongs sticking out on the floor. I tripped and fell hard hitting both legs and catching my fall with my hands and knees. I have deep bruised shins, thigh bruises and my left wrist hurts to grip or put pressure on. My ankle on the left is also sore. No broken bones. An employee helped me up- they moved the fork lift immediately. There was not any signs or cones. I was embarrassed and left. It’s 5 days later and I’m being advised to sue for my pain and suffering, what do you think?
Yes you may have a case and should consult with one of the AVVO rated personal injury attorneys. An attorney can refer you for proper medical care if you have not received it. You should probably see an orthopedist for your wrist and ankle injuries. Make sure to take photos of your bruising and swelling. Was an incident report filled out by any employee? If not, you should contact an attorney ASAP so that they can make a claim for you so that any possible video of the incident may be preserved.
You may have a claim, but it's not worth the effort if you aren't hurt seriously enough to require medical attention, get diagnosed and follow through with treatment. Bruises aren't enough. Get medical attention, then talk to a PI attorney. Consultations are free.

Sounds like you have a good case. You need to call an attorney as soon as possible. We are not allowed to directly solicit for business so you will have to pick one of us and give us a call.
