My stepdad is acused falsy of broke a window's car he was taken in costudy by the police but he was release in less than 2 hours of investigation his neighbors have been harrasing him for a while swearing my mom and try to fighting him and her now
They acused him falsy now he has to go to curt but the police says that there was no charge against him so what does he have to do ?
He still must show up in court as he most likely promised when he was released from jail. It would be prudent for him to retain an experienced criminal defense attorney because a conviction for vandalism carries with it a one year suspension of one's driver's license. Good luck to your stepdad.
He should speak to a local attorney.
SAN DIEGO CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY--20 years experience
Agree with my colleagues. He would still have to appear in court. It would be a good idea for your stepdad to consult with a criminal lawyer for advice.
