I moved in to the apartment on Aug 15th and found bed bugs biting me on 28th. I reported it to the office on the 29th morning once it opened. They scheduled an inspection on Sep 1st, and it is confirmed to be badbugs. I saw the doctor during the weekend and diagnosed that I have allergic reaction to the bites. My previous landlord wrote a prove that there was no bed bugs issue in my previous apartment that I have lived for 1 year. With my research, I have found that there were multiple bed bugs issue in this apartment complex. Therefore, I am hoping to terminate my lease. However, the apartment manager basically denied the fault of bed bugs issue from the apartment and said I will be responsible to the rent until they find a new renter. What should I do to move out with no fault?
