The bank will not repo my car. I have asked multiple times for them to take it. They say its not in the best interest to recover it. The car is not register, inspected or driven. I want it gone and have no interest in it. They wont release the lien unless its settled, which i dont have the money to do. What can i do with this car im stuck with that the bank abandoned? I havent paid on it in 2 years. The car is in mine and my exes name ( not divorced yet). Didnt know that till today. With a lien on the title.
One thing is unclear who's name is on the title of the car. You can check with the DMV to obtain this information. Also if you have not until now, you should send your request to repo the car to the bank in writing by certified mail, return receipt requested.
