I now face charges of driving on a suspended license and failure to appear. I was told CHP usually don't check for warrants but seems like He did since I was arrested after CHP ran my Drivers Licence
Ok. Thanks for the update. Did you have a legal question? Who told you CHP doesn't check for warrants? Your source was poorly informed.

And what is your question? Do you need an attorney--probably. CHP regularly runs drivers licenses when they stop people. What's the problem (besides driving on a suspended license)?
The best advice about these new cases is to hire an attorney to represent you. As for checking for warrants I suspect that if it has not already become automatic when the officer runs your license through his computer it soon will be.
