As an EMT and first responder in NY, can you have an ex police vehicle with the lights and sirens in it and is it ok to keep the tinted windows at 5% which you bought it with because of all the equipment you keep in your car which is expensive for an EMT?
Also if you get stopped is it possible to get a fix it ticket instead?
It is highly unlikely that you a first responder you are able to use a police vehicle with lights and sirens. The same goes for the tint. You may want to consult with a licensed attorney to explore your options.
