Unfortunately U visa cap for fiscal year of 2015 has been reached almost immediately after their release. The U visas available for fiscal year 2016 will not be released until October 1, 2015.
You state that you received a letter of approval. Approval for what? For a U visa? Or were you granted Deferred Action, in anticipation that you probably will be approved in the future? At any rate, as my colleague noted, USCIS does not have any more U visas to issue, until October 2015.
