I have received at the least one call and some days up to 10 calls with the ID private name private number for months now. Every. Day. The moment I answer the line it usually goes dead, and sometimes there is a moment and then it goes dead. I don't know for sure that it is my ex husband but I suspect that it is. Do I have any recourse to find out if it is him? Is this considered harassment?
A lawyer can initiate a legal proceeding, an antiharassment protection order, and subpoena your phone records, including the unblocked number of the person making the calls. But before you make an accusation against someone who might be innocent, you ought to talk to a lawyer.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not. What determines Avvo Rating?Experience & background
