I am currently house/dog/cat sitting for a family in my area and I suspect they have cameras in or around the house because they have been able to keep tabs on me in the house. Is it or is it not required of them to let me know ahead of time if they have cameras or not?
Unless the cameras are in the bathrooms or where you sleep, you likely have no reasonable expectation of privacy in your employer's home. Anywhere you go, you should expect that there are cameras.
If you are in contact with the employer, you can ask about the existence of the recording devices.
