A third party sponsor gave me a letter of financial support to apply/admit into medical residency combined with masters program. I used/ relied on this letter to secure acceptance into this orthopedic residency / masters program . Now my sponsor says it can not support me for a residency but will support me for masters program only because administrative staff changed and now looking at my scholarship decree that states only masters. That is true but my sponsor for years used to allow grantees to combine masters and residences, and already accepted that I am applying for residency programs/ master evident in its letter to me 11 months ago
The letter aged 11 months.
Because there is a written obligation, it trumps any other promises made concerning your schooling. It does not matter that in the past the sponsor supported both programs. Sorry.
