I received a refund check for $480 and my original deposit was $625. They asserted bogus charges, I sued in civil court and won the judgment. If after 30 days have passed and they do not file an appeal and I do not receive payment of any kind, I will initiate another suit and go from there. My question is solely based on whether after that time (30 days) I could cash the check and send another demand letter showing the deduction of $480 and a new amount due. Thanks for your help!!
Did the refund say settlement of all claims? I would wait and then tell them to pay or you will execute on the judgment.
