my landlord has been aware of the cameras, never stated anything about the cameras violating her rights. She has even asked me to remove it once to she can repair the area i had it. Now that we are not seeing eye to eye she seems to have an issue with it stating i am violating pa laws by having them. is this true?
It is not illegal to possess cameras. It is only illegal for you to record audio of third parties without their specific consent. This is YOUR apartment. You can record yourself all day long if you want. And the video portion is totally legal. You can videotape anybody anywhere without their consent (obscenity kinds of things notwithstanding).
