My wife finished 3 yr of J1 waiver job on H1 visa and is currently working on H1 after extending for 3 years. I got EAD through work visa (pending I 485) 3 years ago and likely will get green card this October. How can I add my wife to my green card application, so she can get it through my priority date. We could not add her on green card application because she was on J1 visa (3 years) and then finishing J1 waiver (3 years). Or she had to wait for her priority date to get current. If I get green card, can she leave her job and adjust her status on my Green card? Thanks
If the priority date is current, you may start the process through the NVC.

You need to file I485 for her with a copy of your I-140 approval and proof of her INA 212e waiver and marriage certificate. She will be "added". The term "to add" is not applicable here. This is not an asylum application. You can "add" her up to two years after your I485 grant. Provided of course, the marriage took place prior to the grant.
