81 year old Mother with dementia complains of forceful, harsh workers in her Assisted Living facility. There are aides that I and my sister suspect. It is possible that my mother is imagining these events due to dementia. However, I want to be absolutely sure no one is harming her where she is living. I would like to place a video camera in her room. Do I need to ask anyone's permission to do this legally?
This is an area of the law that can pose significant problems if done incorrectly. You need to speak with an attorney who can advise you what is required and how to proceed. This is not a situation in which doing it yourself is a good option.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not. What determines Avvo Rating?Experience & background
