The Granted Ex Parte (application) Order was only made for a Continuance on all Proceedings but then the Judge Ordered my powers suspended as both a Trustee and Co-Trustee. I was ordered to turn over all trust assets within 6 days & return to Court on the 7th day to verify compliance. I was never given Notice of either of these hearings to suspend me or confirm asset turn over. The Order suspending me never was served on me. In addition, there was an Objection I filed to the Petition & the Court needs to have a trial prior to exercising any jurisdiction through Section 17200, as the allegations made are easily proved perjury & fraud. This seems like a complete abuse of the Court's "discretion". Before advising to retain counsel, I have tried & the Judge has denied the funding to retain one
This is a complicated question that we would need more facts to understand. However, you should comply with the judge's order. Even if you don't agree with it, do as the judge says or you could face sanctions. As for retaining counsel, I highly recommend you do so. A probate lawyer would be best. The judge is not going to pay for your attorney. Generally speaking, courts only pay for counsel for indigent criminal defendants.

Based on the facts, I am not sure if anything is contradictory here. Also, in civil matters, although there is an absolute right to be represented by counsel of your choosing, there is no right to have the fees paid for by the Court/government if you cannot afford it - that right only applies in criminal matters. That said, you should comply with the Court's Order or seek a Stay or extension of time to comply, etc... Get counsel immediately if that is at possible.

Judges don't make the orders you describe lightly. You clearly had notice because you objected so the service issues do you no good. Also, your opportunity and best chance was to hire a lawyer to defend you before you represented yourself, lost, and now want the trust to pay for your lawyer. At this point much of the damage has Ben done. You now need to find the money to pay a lawyer, especially if surcharge is possible,or consider stepping aside.
