This may be a situation that you will have to address in Magistrate court in the county in which the store is located. You can always have your insurance company repair the car and then let them handle any issues with getting reimbursed from the store/store owners.
If the store does not honor your estimates you can have damages addressed by your insurance carrier who will then try to get repaid by the negligent party, the store. The insurance carrier will even try to get your deductible from the store.
I agree with Mr. Fabiano. If you don't have insurance and the store is refusing to pay, them sue them in small claims court.

I am not sure if I understand your question? If you are asking how do you get reimbursed for your damages you should do what you said. Get good estimates and send them to the insurance company and request payment.
