I specifically told the doctor he couldn’t share anything I wasn’t ok with it and he disregarded me and said he used a judgement call this is not ok
Doctors are mandatory reporters of alleged abuse, so the doctor has an obligation to report to DCPP any injuries or sickness which he believes may be a result of abuse or neglect. Your particular instruction not to share issues is irrelevant. DCPP has broad powers to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect and will do so without your permission. If the doctor has a reasonable basis to suspect child abuse or neglect he must report this suspicion.
