I was hired trough a large employment agency at a Fort Lauderdale firm, 6 month contract-to-hire then possibly full time job offer. After a little over a month I was fired. I was told it was because I was isolating myself from team by sitting at the end of the office - this was due to noisy environment & my problem focusing with noise around me - some of the team were in different rooms. I socialized with some of the guys daily. I was also told something about not staying long-term as a reason
A lot will depend on what your employment agreement states. Absent any employment contract, or absent any provision in an employment agreement stating they have to give good cause to fire you, you are an "employee at will." What that means is they can fire you for any reason and at any time.
I would speak to an attorney and have him review the terms of your employment and see if you have a claim for wrongful termination.
